​Calendar
Syrendell lessons are offered as 10-week terms:
              Fall 2015 from week of September 14 - November 16 (10 lessons)
              No lessons week of 11/23
              Winter 2016 from week of December 7  – February 22 (10 lessons)
             No lessons weeks of 12/21 and 12/28
             Spring 2016 from week of March 1 – May 16 (10 lessons)
             No lessons week of 3/21

Fees
  1. Lessons are $27/half hour. Duration of a lesson is 25-30 minutes unless otherwise arranged with Syrendell.
  2. Missed lessons: Makeups are available within one week of missed lessons at a mutually agreed time/date for up to 2 lessons per term when Syrendell is informed in advance about the missed lesson by email or phone/text.
  3. With prior agreement between Syrendell and parents, a class may be designed to accommodate up to a maximum of 4 students.            (2 students = $20/half hour each, or 3 or 4 students = $15/half hour each)
  4. Payment may be paid by PayPal, credit card, check, money order or cash. No refunds. A $40 fee will be assessed for uncleared checks. Payment is due on or before the first lesson of each term. A $25 fee will be assessed per week for late payments.
  5. Payment options: a)  One payment per term ($270) or b)  Three payments per term ($95/payment, totaling $285, includes $5 per payment convenience fee.)
  6. Supplies, music, or book fees may apply and are due with the first payment of each term or within a week of notification that they are needed.

Attendance
  1. Late arrival results in a shorter lesson time. End time remains the same. No makeup of time, credits or refunds for late arrivals.
  2. Friends/relatives may not observe lessons without advanced permission.
  3. Children who are transported must be dropped off and picked up within 5 min before/after their scheduled times. Families with children dropped off early or picked up late by more than 5 minutes will be charged an additional $5 per 15 minutes, due within one week.
  4. If someone other than parents/guardians will be picking up, Syrendell must be notified in advance.
  5. We recommend that children eat, drink and use the restroom prior to their lesson time to maximize their learning time.

​Communication
  1. Disciplinary steps for inappropriate/disrespectful behavior are: a) Issuance of a verbal warning, b) Call/email/in person communication with parents, and c) Removal from lesson term (no refunds).
  2. Progress will be reported once per term via email. Parents are welcome to request updated progress via email at any time. If children are enrolled in school or other programs, teachers are welcome to email Syrendell to communicate regarding goals and progress at any time.
